Chugach Baptist Association First Baptist Church is also affiliated with the Chugach Baptist Association, an organization of cooperating Southern Baptist Churches in a large, region of Alaska which includes Anchorage. This association allows churches in the region to fellowship, encourage, and cooperate in mutual ministry and mission endeavors. |

Southern Baptist Convention The SBC is the national convention of Southern Baptist Churches with which First Baptist Church is also affiliated. Through cooperative mission support churches are able to participate in the support of approximately 10,000 missionaries, worldwide. |

LifeWay Christian Resources, SBC LifeWay Christian Resources (formerly known as the Sunday School Board) is the Southern Baptist entity which publishes Bibles, Bible Study and Discipleship materials, and a vast array of other Christian resources for individual and church use. LifeWay also markets materials through the LifeWay Christian Stores, nationwide. |

International Mission Board, SBC The IMB is the Southern Baptist entity which operates the international mission efforts of the Convention. They support approximately 5,000 mission representatives in numerous countries. This entity also provides mission resources for churches, and thousands of international mission volunteers. |

North American Mission Board, SBC NAMB coordinates the North American mission efforts of the Southern Baptist Convention. They also support approximately 5,000 missionary personnel in addition to coordination of the efforts of thousands of mission volunteers. |
